Promotion

Sierra Vista Middle School

Promotion Ceremony
June 9, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. South Hills High School Quad

All promoting 8th grade students need to report to the SHHS gym, no later than 8:30 a.m. Students will be seated alphabetically, so it is imperative your child arrives on time.   We ask that guests not arrive before 8:00 a.m., so that we may finalize preparations for promotion.
As a reminder, to participate in the promotion ceremony, students must pass all of their core classes, which include history, language arts (English), math, and science.  Students receiving a failing grade (F) at the end of the second semester in a core class, will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
